Ageing is, in part, an accumulation of oxidative and inflammatory micro-damage. AETHER-1 layers polyphenols, withanolides and curcuminoids against that drift — supporting mitochondrial efficiency, telomere maintenance and a calmer inflammatory baseline.

Mechanism · Hibiscus anthocyanins and cocoa flavanols quench reactive oxygen species; curcumin and ginger modulate NF-κB; ashwagandha withanolides support HSP70 and DNA-repair machinery; bacosides protect neuronal membranes.

A daily polyphenol load comparable to several portions of berries and dark chocolate, without the sugar.

System II · Cardiovascular

Vascular tone,
the unseen athletic edge.

Dietary nitrates and flavanols dilate vessels, lower the oxygen cost of effort and quietly improve blood pressure. Magnesium and potassium from the multivitamin matrix complete the electrical picture.

Mechanism · Beetroot nitrates convert to nitric oxide via the enterosalivary loop; cocoa epicatechin upregulates eNOS; hibiscus has documented systolic and diastolic effects in meta-analyses; ginger supports endothelial responsiveness.

Effects on blood pressure are most pronounced when taken consistently for 4–8 weeks.

System III · Glucose & Insulin

Spikes are the enemy of energy, mood and long-term metabolic health. AETHER-1 is engineered to blunt the post-prandial rise without resorting to artificial sweeteners or fillers.

Mechanism · Ceylon cinnamon MHCP mimics insulin signalling; VitaFiber soluble fibre slows glucose absorption and feeds short-chain-fatty-acid producers; chromium supports insulin receptor sensitivity; ashwagandha reduces cortisol-driven hepatic glucose output; galangal galangin modulates α-amylase.

Stevia replaces sucrose; cocoa and cinnamon supply the sense of sweetness without the glucose load.

System IV · Weight & Body Composition

Sustainable composition is protein-adequate, fibre-rich and stress-regulated. AETHER-1 contributes meaningfully to all three without functioning as a meal replacement.

Mechanism · Free-form EAAs (with a 2:1:1 BCAA core) cross the brush border faster than whole protein and trigger muscle protein synthesis at low caloric cost; VitaFiber expands viscosity and prolongs gastric emptying; ginger and cocoa contribute modest thermogenesis; ashwagandha down-regulates cortisol-driven visceral fat deposition.

Take 30 minutes before your first meal. The B-complex, EAAs and cocoa flavanols set up cognition and circulation for the day; cinnamon and fibre prepare the glucose response for whatever comes next.

Ritual · 15g into 300ml cold water · pinch of black pepper · optional lemon squeeze to bloom the hibiscus.

Afternoon · training window

The performance dose.
45–90 minutes before, or within the hour after.

Beetroot nitrates take 60–90 minutes to peak as nitric oxide. EAAs are ready for muscle protein synthesis on either side of effort. Turmeric and ginger soften the inflammation that follows.

For those under chronic load: a half-serve in the evening leans on brahmi, ashwagandha and tulsi to lower cortisol before sleep. Skip on caffeine-sensitive days; cocoa contains theobromine.

Activation

A pinch of freshly cracked black pepper raises curcumin bioavailability by up to 2,000%. Sunflower lecithin already carries the fat-soluble actives — no oil required.

What to avoid

Boiling water (degrades vitamin C and polyphenols). Dairy (calcium binds catechins and curcumin). Mixing with coffee within 30 minutes (tannins blunt non-haem iron absorption).
