Polyphenols: what the rainbow actually does

Anthocyanins, catechins, curcuminoids — a short field guide to the plant pigments that quietly run the inflammation thermostat.

Polyphenols are the plant kingdom's pigments and defence molecules. In us they behave less like vitamins and more like signals: nudging NRF2, dialling down NF-kB, sharpening insulin sensitivity at the margins.

Bioavailability is the catch

Most polyphenols are poorly absorbed in isolation. The interesting work happens when matrices are combined — curcumin with piperine, catechins with vitamin C, anthocyanins with fat — and when dosing is daily, not heroic.

Inside the pouch

The Chromatic Matrix in AETHER-1 layers organic blueberry, beet, pomegranate, acerola and Callebaut cocoa to span the colour spectrum at gentle, sustained doses.
